Greenville Wedding Photographer - Greenville FM ChurchThis DeSoto classic car window provided great framing of this moment from Kristin and Kory’s Greenville Wedding photography. They were married that the Greenville Free Methodist Church and their reception was hosted at the Greenville College Armington Center. The bride and groom did not see each other before the ceremony that day; so this moment was essentially the first time for them to be together, just the two of them. They had just greeted their family and friends and hopped into the well-maintained DeSoto to head to Durley Camp for a few portraits. Kory helped Kristin into the car, and then got in on the opposite side. As soon as he sat down on his side of the car, I noticed Kristen quickly abandon her seat on the right side of the car to be closer to him. I clicked away! Her expression was priceless – so much excitement in her eyes, so much anticipation for the life together. These are the moments I truly enjoy about photographing a wedding day. Don’t get me wrong, I love creating portraits that I think are beautiful, but they never get me as excited as when I capture a moment like this. They will be able to look back at this photograph when they are 70 years old and remember that moment, that day, that they became husband and wife. Yeah, being a bit sappy here, but yeah, I love this stuff (smile). This falls squarely in line with our goal for the day – to capture real moments, especially when they are so invested in the moment, they don’t even notice us taking their photo.
